The parks are littered with soccer games on the weekends, and they have basketball leagues, baseball clubs, etc. Each town houses its sets of special events like concerts\/movies in the park and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conejovalleyguy.com\/greatrace\/\">Great Race of Agoura<\/a>, or the Oak Park Music Fest.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Both Oak Park and Agoura Hills are a short drive to Westlake Village and it&#8217;s common for locals to hop in that direction for dinner and\/or a movie. They\u2019re also slightly more expensive than Agoura Hills. In terms of options, Oak Park covers everything from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conejovalleyguy.com\/shadow-ridge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">entry level condos<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conejovalleyguy.com\/regency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">large estates<\/a>. Some of the homes boast bigger yards but sacrifice the open floor plan we\u2019ve come to expect. Others are the opposite with high ceilings, larger kitchens, and natural lighting &#8211; the yards however, aren\u2019t particularly sprawling. But hey, low maintenance isn\u2019t a bad thing in our opinion.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll find a wide range in <span style=\"color: #709cc1;\">Agoura Hills<\/span> housing too. Condos, single family homes, and some of the finest estates in the Conejo Valley. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conejovalleyguy.com\/oldagoura\/\">Old Agoura<\/a> is zoned for horses and pockets a ranch culture special to this section of Agoura Hills.<\/div><\/div><\/p>\n<p>The layouts in Agoura Hills vary considerably. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conejovalleyguy.com\/morrisonhighlands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Morrison<\/a> neighborhoods make up a bulk of Agoura Hills and deliver loads of curb appeal, open floor plans, and yards big enough to let the entertainers imagination run wild.<\/p>\n<p>Price wise, Agoura Hills is still on the higher end for the Conejo Valley but it\u2019s not the most expensive. And you\u2019re likely to get more house and yard for your dollar compared to Westlake Village and Oak Park.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #709cc1;\"><strong>Schools<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Schools are arguably the biggest differentiator between Oak Park and Agoura Hills. They fall into two completely separate school districts &#8211; one in Ventura County and one in LA County.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oakparkusd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oak Park Unified<\/a> (OPUSD) is a small Ventura County school district with 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school all specific to Oak Park. It&#8217;s nationally recognized and has the best reputation for academics in all the Conejo Valley &#8211; parents will often cater their home search around acceptance into this district.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Agoura Hills is in the Las Virgenes Unified School District.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvusd.org\/\">LVUSD<\/a>\u00a0doesn&#8217;t fall too far behind Oak Park in academics and matches its weight in sports. It covers Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and the L.A. County section of Westlake Village.
