From Mr. Frank 11/25

Dear Colina Families-

This is Shane Frank, Principal at Colina Middle School.  I wanted to welcome you back and let you know that we are looking forward to seeing everyone on campus tomorrow, Monday, November 26th.

Since students were last on campus, our school has undergone a labor-intensive remediation and restoration process. I am proud to share that the campus now meets the highest cleanliness and air-quality standards.

We have also prepared, and put into place extra support services so that we can help students smoothly transition back into the classroom. Teachers are receiving guidance on how to appropriately address students’ social-emotional needs, and school counselors will be available for students and staff.

Please remember to have your child look up their locker combinations before coming back to school.  Should your child not recall their combinations, it is best to see Mrs. Carlson at the attendance window for assistance; campus supervisors are also able to assist students.  Lastly, don’t forget to provide an extra bag for your child to bring home any clothing items left in lockers over the break.

I look forward to seeing you on campus tomorrow, and please do not hesitate to contact our main office if there is anything additional we can do to support your family at this time.

Sincerely-

Shane Frank, Principal

Colina Middle School
