Dear Colina Families-
We had a wonderful first day back at school. I wanted to remind you that our trimester 1 marking period has been extended to Friday, November 30th. We will remain on regularly scheduled days during this time. Report cards for Trimester 1 will go home with students and be posted in Q on December 7. Students should be bringing home any clothing items left in lockers over the break so check those backpacks; our PE department will not require dress out until Wednesday 11/28. All sporting practices are back as scheduled with playoff dates and times to be found at: http://www.quickscores.com/toteencenter

Minimum Day- Students without a period 6 are dismissed at 11:55 am, all other students will be dismissed at 1:05 pm.Future Cougar Night will be held on December 11, 2018 at 6pm in our gymnasium. This is for all Future students for the fall of 2019. Parking will be available on our basketball courts.

GATE:
1. Lunchtime Activity- Dec 12th at the B&G Club. Please sign up on GATE Google Classroom. Invite is also on your Google Learn account.
2. After School GATE Activity- Friday, Dec. 14th What: Breakout Box Online (a Colina Escape Room experience where students will race against the clock on the Chromebooks to solve different clues and earn their chance to unlock the master box!)
When: Friday, December 14th from 3:15pm-4:45pm
Where: Colina Library.
How to sign up: Sign-ups are on a first come, first serve basis and will be capped at 60 students. Sign ups are on our GATE Google Classroom for GATE students. If you are not a GATE student please email or call Mrs. Jantz to sign up:
Instructors: Class will be taught by Miss Haley Carroll- GATE advisor at Sycamore Canyon. Mrs. Jantz will also be present.
